ABOUT US
The Hernando Computer Club was incorporated in September, 1997, as a non-profit, all volunteer organization for the benefit of residents of Hernando County.
We provide an educational forum to its members by teaching several classes, such as; Windows 10, Photoshop Elements, Internet Basics & Browsing for Beginners, Gmail, MSExcel, MSWord, How to Use iPhone, How to Use Android Phone, Smart TV’s, Cut the Cord (getting rid of that cable bill), Macintosh (Mac) computer class, and a class for Linux users, along with several others. Most importantly we have a class designed for those who have never used a computer before.
Tutoring is available, along with a weekly Software Clinic and a weekly Hardware Clinic offered by our volunteer instructors and technicians.
You’ll also find volunteers who help with any device: PC, laptop, Android phones and tablets, iPhones, iPads, and MAC to name a few. We are proud to be a “near me” computer club in Hernando County, Florida. We also support the community by donating computers to local schools and others.
We also have a Genealogy workshop, food workshop, sewing workshop, watercolor workshop and garden committee.
