I attended the University of Illinois and obtained a B.A. in 1971 and a J.D. in 1974. I practiced law in Sterling, Illinois for 45 years prior to my retirement, concentrating in the last several years in real estate, estate planning and administration, and business law. I became interested in computers when I took a computer science class as an undergrad. A friend started the first internet service provider company in Sterling, Illinois, and I was an early adopter. I was a long-time member of SCUG (Sauk Computer User Group) in Sterling and frequently presented programs at their meetings. When we decided to move I searched for computer groups in the area and was thrilled to find that HCC existed. I am pleased to be part of the group and hope that I can contribute.
