I have always loved working with numbers, therefore I became a bookkeeper. Most of my education is self taught by advancing in the companies I worked for. The college courses I took were specifically tax and accounting related. I was able to move to an accounting position at the picture frame moulding company I worked at for 16 years. It was natural for me to move into the computer world as it just makes my math skills shine. I was the go to person for computer questions as I was instrumental in getting the company up to speed when setting up the wide area network and software programming. I continue to work in tax preparation and accounting for small businesses. Helping people truly makes me happy.
